- How much does dumpster rental cost in Frederick?We quote one flat price up front based on the container size and the material. It includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance; the only possible extra is the per-ton overage rate we state on the same quote. - Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Frederick?Not on your own driveway or lot, as far as the City and County publish. For a City of Frederick street or sidewalk, the City says to contact the Engineering Department’s Traffic Division (301-600-3885), and we make that call. In the unincorporated county, County Code § 1-15-2(B) keeps objects out of county roads. Our permit guide covers every town.
- How fast can you deliver?Call before noon and we can usually deliver the same afternoon across Frederick, Urbana, Walkersville, Buckeystown, Ijamsville and New Market. Otherwise, next day.
- How long can I keep the dumpster?Most home rentals run three to seven days and contractors keep containers for weeks with swaps. Tell us the dates when you book; if your homeowners association sets a limit, we set the pickup to fit.
- What can’t go in the dumpster?Whole tires, liquids, paint, household chemicals and asbestos stay out, and Frederick County keeps yard waste out of the landfill’s disposal area even when it is mixed in. Paint goes to PaintCare; chemicals go to the County’s household hazardous waste events. Our guide lists where each item goes.
- Where does the waste go?To permitted disposal and recycling facilities. Frederick County’s facility on Reichs Ford Road only accepts waste generated in the county, clean yard waste goes to its composting area rather than the landfill, and tires, appliances, electronics and batteries are routed to recycling.
- Will the dumpster damage my driveway?We set the container down rather than dragging it and put boards under the rails on request. Tell us if the surface is new or decorative and we will plan the placement around it.
- What are the rules in Walkersville, Mount Airy and the other towns?Each one is different. Walkersville: a permit from the Burgess and Commissioners before anything obstructs a street. Mount Airy: written authorization from the Mayor and Council for any obstruction in a Town street. Emmitsburg: no objects on sidewalks without a permit, and a $25-a-day street-closure permit with five days’ notice. Myersville: construction sites must have adequate debris containers. For New Market, Middletown, Brunswick, Thurmont and Woodsboro we ask the town office first. Each service-area page gives the details.
- Do you offer junk removal as well as dumpsters?Yes. Our junk removal crew loads, hauls and disposes of furniture, appliances and whole-house cleanouts, priced by the load with a firm quote on site.
- How much space does the truck need?About 60 feet of straight clearance to back in and roll the container off, and roughly 14 feet of overhead clearance, free of low wires and branches. Send a photo of the spot if you are unsure.
- Can I fill it above the top?No. The load must be level with the top rail so the truck can tarp it and travel legally. We will ask you to level an overfilled container before we haul it.
- What happens if I go over the weight allowance?You pay the per-ton overage rate we quoted when you booked, nothing more. Light loads rarely get near the allowance; heavy loads are why we size concrete, dirt and shingles into smaller containers.
