Myersville was incorporated in 1904 with about 150 residents; by 2020 it had 1,748, after I-70 came through in 1968 and the town became, by 2000, the fastest-growing municipality in Maryland. Most of it is newer housing around the old Main Street, and a 15 or 20-yard fits the typical driveway.
It is about ten miles north-west of Frederick on I-70, a regular run for us. The Town’s bulk pickup happens twice a year and does not take construction debris, and its code expects every building or demolition site to have a proper debris container, which is where we come in.

Town Code § 85-15 requires whoever is in charge of a construction or demolition site to provide receptacles adequate for the construction debris and to empty them often enough that nothing overflows, and § 85-12 requires owners to keep the sidewalk and curb in front of their property free from obstruction; both are Class F municipal infractions ($100, then $150, each day a separate offence).
